The Apple Vision Pro – 1TB is Apple’s most advanced spatial computing device, offering a powerful blend of immersive visuals, responsive input systems, and ample storage capacity designed for professionals, creators, and future-focused users. This premium headset is equipped with 1 terabyte of internal storage, giving users the freedom to store large spatial videos, immersive apps, and high-resolution content without compromise. Its storage is non-expandable but more than sufficient for even the most demanding use cases in AR/VR environments.

At the core of the Vision Pro is Apple’s custom dual-chip architecture: the Apple M2 chip, responsible for performance and graphics, and the dedicated Apple R1 chip, which processes input from the device’s extensive camera and sensor array in real-time. Together, they deliver incredibly low-latency performance, enabling a seamless and intuitive user experience.

The device features dual micro-OLED displays—one for each eye—with a combined resolution exceeding 23 million pixels, providing a sharp, lifelike viewing experience with vibrant colors and deep contrast. These displays support refresh rates of 90Hz, 96Hz, and 100Hz, with special modes for cinematic content at 24 or 30 frames per second. To enable natural interaction, Apple Vision Pro integrates advanced eye tracking, hand gesture recognition, and voice input via Siri, eliminating the need for physical controllers. It supports Bluetooth accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Trackpad for traditional input when needed. For authentication, the device uses Optic ID, an iris-based biometric system stored securely in the Secure Enclave.

A rich array of sensors powers the Vision Pro’s spatial awareness, including multiple tracking cameras, LiDAR, and a TrueDepth camera. Its stereoscopic 3D main camera captures immersive spatial photos and videos, allowing users to relive memories with depth and realism.

Audio on the Vision Pro is equally impressive, with Spatial Audio delivered through custom-built speakers near the ears, enhanced by dynamic head tracking and personal audio profiles. A six-microphone beamforming array ensures crystal-clear voice input and communication, while ultra-low-latency audio pairing is available via Apple’s H2 chip for use with AirPods Pro (2nd gen, USB-C) and other H2-based devices.

The headset is powered by an external battery pack that connects via a woven cable and rests in the user’s pocket, offering around 2 hours of standard use and up to 2.5 hours for video playback. The Vision Pro can also be used while plugged into power for extended sessions.
